I made it to breakfast for the third time in this semester. It was awesome!!! I love John's omelet. It's the best!
Well...finals are in two weeks. I'm getting anxious! But I am really looking forward to winter break. I am visiting my aunt in Florida. They say the weather is warm there. I'm so excited!

snowwW!!!

I was so excited today. It snowed! And the ground was frozen so it's all white on the ground. It is sooooO pretty! I have never actually seen snow before so I am super excited!!!^^ I even had snow ball fight with my friend. =D
Today is also the first day of Thanksgiving break. All my friends went home. But my friend from another state is visiting me so it's kinda fun. There's like nobody in my residence hall. It'd be really creepy if there's nobody but me. =P
My friend and I also went and saw the moive 'Fred Claus' in downtown Ripon. It was so funny!=D

a better day

Today is a better day. Although it's a bit misty, the temperature is lower than the other days. It's not windy either. As I came from from a tropical country, weather is the one of the hardest things I have to adjust to. I'm pretty used to it now. When I first got here in August, it was like winter in my country for me. ^^
Well, better off writing my paper!

about me

I'm Lynn and I came from Burma which is near China and Thailand. I've been in Ripon for 3 and a half months. It's interesting to be in a different country and learn about a different culture. There's a little bit of homesickness but that doesn't really mean I want to go home. I miss the food though. People here are friendly so I don't feel alienated. Moreover, I am lucky that I got a really nice roommate. We get along very well. She's friendly, funny and nice.
I haven't decided about my major yet but I'm interested in Child Psychology and Art. Right now I'm taking Intro Psych, Mathematical Thinking and Writing and Enlgish classes. I'm taking drawing class next semester and I'm really excited!
